Marc Schiller

Marc Stuart Schiller is a managing and founding partner of the Law Offices of Schiller, Kessler & Gomez, PLC. Mr. Schiller was born in Merrick, New York in 1970.

He moved to Florida with his family in 1984. He received his Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University in 1992, and his J.D. degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1995.

Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Schiller worked as an associate at a prestigious law firm specializing in personal injury and wrongful death claims. After a few years, Mr. Schiller left his associate position with that firm and opened his own law firm, focusing solely on personal injury and wrongful death cases.

In 2004, Mr. Schiller merged practices with Andrew Kessler and Marcelo Gomez, and the Law Offices of Schiller, Kessler & Gomez, PLC was formed. Mr. Schiller, along with his partners, have established Schiller, Kessler & Gomez, PLC as one of the busiest and most well respected personal injury law firms in South Florida.

Mr. Schiller has committed his life to representing those people injured as a result of someone else’s negligence. Mr. Schiller limits his practice exclusively to personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability and nursing home abuse cases. He is a member of The Florida Bar, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Broward County Bar Association, Tort and Insurance Law Committee, as well as several other associations. Mr. Schiller has conducted numerous seminars over the years, educating people on current issues related to personal injury and insurance coverage cases. Mr. Schiller also routinely performs Pro Bono work in the community for those less fortunate.

Mr. Schiller and his partners have handled over 10,000 personal injury cases, aggressively representing their clients to recover the maximum monetary compensation possible.

Marcelo Gomez

Marcelo Gomez was born in Colombia, South America. He came to the United States at the early age of 5 and has lived the majority of his life in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. After graduating from Pine Crest Preparatory High School, he attended and graduated from the University of Florida in 1989 and received his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1992. While attending law school he worked at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office in the homicide unit. Upon graduating from law school, Marcelo worked as a civil litigator with several high profile law firms in the Miami area. Eventually, Marcelo went off on his own and co-founded the law firm of Schiller, Kessler & Gomez, PLC, PLC in 2003.

Marcelo is a member of Florida Bar, the Broward Hispanic Bar Association and is an active member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is also a founding member of the Colombian-American Bar Association which was created in the year 2000 to help and assist people in need of legal assistance who cannot afford legal representation.

Over the years Marcelo has been hosted on several television and radio programs as being an expert in the area of personal injury law. He also currently hosts daily and weekly radio programs all over the state.

As an attorney, Marcelo has always taken pride in giving clients the utmost professional and personal service. He has been an active volunteer within the Hispanic community and has participated in many pro bono programs for the needy.

Dennis Bailey

Dennis Bailey joined SKG in 2008.  Mr. Bailey is a native son of Fort Lauderdale, growing up on the east side and graduating from Pompano Beach High School, and comes from a proud family of lawyers, including his grandfather, his father, two of his brothers, and his wife practicing law.  He is the proud father of three sons. 

After graduating from Florida Atlantic University and Nova University Law Center, Mr. Bailey began his trial lawyer career as a criminal prosecutor in Broward County’s Office of the State Attorney.  For close to ten years, Mr. Bailey prosecuted every type of criminal case from misdemeanors to murder, including serving as the head of this jurisdiction’s Sex Crimes, Child Abuse and Elderly Abuse unit.  Mr. Bailey left government service to join his father and brother in private practice, trying all nature of cases including defending those facing Florida’s death penalty in the criminal courtrooms and advocating for those who have suffered tragic personal injuries in civil cases. 

In over twenty years of standing before countless juries as lead counsel, Mr. Bailey has won jury trial verdicts not only in both the criminal and civil courtrooms, but also in both state and federal courtrooms on both coasts of Florida, all the way down to Key West.  Mr. Bailey has prosecuted and defended multi-million dollar lawsuits, handled complex litigations involving catastrophic personal injuries and death from automobile accidents, devastatingly widespread property losses from hurricane damages, and the violation of American civil rights suffered by the poor, the homeless, and the handicapped. 

Mr. Bailey has served as President of the North Broward County Bar Association, and on the board of directors on a number of legal and community service civic organizations.  Mr. Bailey has also taught law courses at Nova University Shepard Broad Law Center and the University of Miami, as well as at the police academy at Broward Community College.  Mr. Bailey has also lectured on Evidence and Trial Advocacy skills to fellow members of The Florida Bar.
